  1. 1.  Remove any debris, vegetation or overhanging foliage from Perimeter Barrier location.

  2. 2.  Unroll Perimeter Barrier around desired area.

  3. 3.  Loosen about 1” soil where Perimeter Barrier is to be installed.

  4. 4.  Place Perimeter Barrier in position standing upright in the soil.

  5. 5.  Overlap the ends by 1/4 - 1” and attach at top and bottom with staples, paper clips, or other means.

  6. 6.  Gently press Perimeter Barrier into soil about 1/2”, starting at one end and moving toward the other end.

  7. 7.  Press soil down around base to provide additional support.

  8. 8.  Bend the top of Perimeter Barrier outward and downward to create a lip, if possible.

  9. 9.  Keep the vicinity of Perimeter Barrier clear of debris.

For Soil:

  1. 1.  Unroll Perimeter Barrier around desired area.

  2. 2.  Position Perimeter Barrier so that it extends about 2” over top of wood frame.

  3. 3.  Attach Perimeter Barrier (with staples or tacks) about 1” up from the bottom.

  4. 4.  Overlap the ends by 1/4 - 1” (cut the length if necessary) and secure.  

  5. 5.  Bend the top of Perimeter Barrier outward and downward to create a lip.

  6. 6.  At the corners, cut a 1” slit in the material to allow for bending, then attach corner pieces provided using staples, paper clips or other means.

  7. 7.  Bend the bottom of Perimeter Barrier upwards (optional).

  8. 8.  Keep the vicinity of Perimeter Barrier clear of debris.
